Role Overview:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day facilities operations, including addressing FM-related complaints and concerns raised by staff, patients, and patient families; managing furniture, equipment, and other assets; supervising contractors; and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. The role serves as the main point of contact for outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of facility-related requests and supporting smooth, safe, and compliant operations to enhance staff workflow, patient safety, and overall experience.
• Manage all FM assets and ensure the readiness of patient rooms, staff offices, and related furniture, maintaining functionality and compliance with applicable standards.
• Supervise outsourced staff, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure quality service delivery.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with Civil Defense, DOH, Municipality, ADMCC, and all other applicable local and international standards
• Oversee facility contracts, vendor relations, and outsourced services.
• Maintain office records, equipment, inventory, and facility documentation.
• Provide logistical and technical support for facility events and staff activities.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, regulatory compliance requirements, and risk management processes across all FM operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to support smooth facility operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in facilities management or coordination.
• Proven experience in supervising contractors and outsourced staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
• Minimum 2 years of career experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
