Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC), a M42 partner, is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility that specializes in diabetes treatment, research, training, and public health awareness. In just over a decade, the Centre has gained international renown for its holistic approach to the treatment of diabetes and related complications that enables patients to receive the full spectrum of care they need in one place. ICLDC was established in 2006 in Abu Dhabi by M42 in partnership with the UK’s Imperial College London to address the growing demand for diabetes care in the UAE. The center operates three branches across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, touching the lives of more than one million people through patient-centric programs and public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the division’s policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.

  • Follows and applies international and organizational standards of pediatric endocrine care across all clinical activities.

  • Diagnoses and manages pediatric patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, ensuring evidence-based and patient-centered treatment approaches.

  • Reviews clinical assessments, laboratory investigations, and imaging results, monitoring patient progress and modifying management plans as appropriate.

  • Participates actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the delivery of comprehensive, safe, and holistic patient care.

  • Supports research, education, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and service excellence.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to compassionate, family-centered care and promotes patient education to support long-term health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medicine/ MBBS Degree or any equivalent qualification from an accredited institution or as defined by DOH PQR.
  • Certificate of Completion of specialty training recognized by DOH or as defined by DOH PQR. Western board such as CCT , American Board etc will be preferred.
  • Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (Where applicable).
  • Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience post specialist qualification or as defined by DOH PQR as a Pediatric Endocrinologist.
