We are seeking an experienced Manager, Cloud Operations to lead and optimize our enterprise cloud environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, ensuring service reliability, and enforcing best practices across backup, patching, monitoring, and incident response. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical expertise, proven leadership, and a process-driven mindset to scale and secure our cloud operations.

Candidate will lead a team of engineers, manage strategic projects, and ensure compliance and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

• Designed and executed scalable, secure cloud operations aligned with business goals and KPIs.
• Led a high-performing cloud engineering team, fostering collaboration and continuous development.
• Managed Azure infrastructure with strong compliance, governance, and cost optimization.
• Implemented ITSM processes and automated deployments using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Oversaw daily operations including monitoring, backup validation, performance tuning, and security.
• Conducted SWOT analyses, defined operational scope, and aligned risk management with business continuity.
• Developed training programs and maintained centralized documentation for consistency.
• Optimized monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Prometheus.
• Maintained robust disaster recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure engineering, including 5+ years with Azure.
• Proven experience managing enterprise cloud operations, ideally in Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Terragrunt).
• Experience implementing ITSM processes and cloud governance.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, DR, backup, and compliance in the cloud.
