About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Specialist – Technical Operations to support and supervise key laboratory and client-facing operational services. The role is pivotal in ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and efficient coordination across internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong biomedical expertise and an ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations when required, ensuring compliance with DOH/DHA and M42 standards.
Conduct coding of tests to support the Sales team and business initiatives.
Engage with clients directly to address operational concerns and provide training (Crelio and Phlebotomy).
Oversee the home phlebotomy service and ensure quality and timely execution.
Review and reconcile referral lab invoices for accuracy and alignment with service delivery.
Coordinate the collection and processing of Quaris samples in a timely and compliant manner.
Liaise with IT to maintain and update client CareSet systems.
Manage technical projects as assigned and ensure smooth delivery from start to finish.
Support educational and competency programs for laboratory staff.
Ensure that all operations follow safety protocols, equipment maintenance schedules, and laboratory best practices.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science (or closely related discipline).
Valid DOH License as Medical Laboratory Technologist or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a laboratory or biomedical operations role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
Proficiency in laboratory systems, training programs, and operational reporting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in laboratory supervision or technical operations.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (e.g., Crelio) and client IT coordination.
Ability to manage projects and deliver outcomes under tight deadlines.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
