As a Senior Associate, Strategy, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing robust business cases, and shaping the strategic direction of IHS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct in-depth market and financial analysis, and support leadership in decision-making for high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and assess business cases for new strategic and commercial opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion.
  • Lead strategic initiatives by conducting in-depth research, financial modeling (e.g., P&L, IRR, NPV), and data analysis.
  • Independently create and present strategic materials to senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Provide actionable insights based on primary and secondary research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor junior team members and review deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Support internal capability building and assist in the initial rollout of high-priority initiatives in coordination with the Enterprise Project Management Office.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across IHS programs.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, organizational policies, and risk management frameworks.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or corporate strategy roles.
  • Proven financial modeling, analytical, and research skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma and life sciences sectors
  • Knowledge in technology (e.g. AI/ML, cloud, engineering is an advantage)
  • Prior training in a scientific, quantitative, or technical discipline and demonstrated strategic thinking.
  • Background in mentoring or managing junior team members.
