About the role:
We are searching for UAE Nationals to be a part of our Patient Services team.
Patient Access Officer/ GSO is responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration, accurate data entry, and effective communication to enhance the patient experience. This role involves managing patient information, verifying insurance details, scheduling appointments, and supporting the overall efficiency of the front desk operations.
Greet patients warmly and provide assistance with the registration process.
Accurately collect and enter patient demographic information into the system.
Verify identification, insurance details, and contact information.
Ensure all required consent forms and documentation are completed.
Schedule patient appointments efficiently, optimizing availability and reducing wait times.
Confirm appointments and provide reminders via phone or electronic communication.
Manage rescheduling and cancellations promptly, minimizing disruptions.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
Obtain necessary pre-authorizations and referrals as required.
Clarify patient financial responsibilities, co-pays, and deductibles.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and redirect calls as necessary.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Collect payments and issue receipts when applicable.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and internal staff.
Escalate patient concerns to supervisors as needed.
