Job Description:
This role is responsible for maintaining and managing of the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) by performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of the patient’s record and ensuring adherence with the completion requirements as established by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) and Department of Health (DOH) standards.
Comprehensive Medical Record Analysis: Conduct both quantitative and qualitative reviews of patient records, ensuring all documentation, signatures, and clinical information are complete and meet regulatory requirements.
Physician Documentation Review: Examine physician notes to confirm they include all necessary elements for thorough and accurate medical reporting.
Deficiency Tracking and Notifications: Identify incomplete records, issue deficiency notices to responsible physicians, and ensure compliance with medical staff regulations.
Error Identification and Resolution: Detect discrepancies or errors in patient electronic medical records (EMRs) and recommend corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.
Efficient Release of Information: Handle all aspects of the information release process, from authorization validation to request processing, ensuring timely and compliant coordination with internal teams.
Medical Record Maintenance and Requests: Manage daily scanning, uploading, and merging of medical records into the EMR system while responding promptly to inquiries and emergency requests for information.
Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Foster trust and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by delivering personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based services that align with M42's values.
