Role Overview:

The Registered Nurse II is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to patients in alignment with Department of Health (DOH) standards and the hospital's policies. Reporting to the Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager, this role ensures high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and assist in advanced medical procedures.
  • Promote patient and family education throughout the care journey.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and service improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team for effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication to support continuity of care.
  • Ensure proper use of clinical equipment and materials.
  • Mentor junior staff and support continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum experiene of 5 years in a hospital setting with recent 2 years experience in Paediatric Urgent Care.
  • Valid DOH/DHA license or eligibility.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
