Amana Healthcare, brought to you by M42 and Mumtalakat, is pleased to announce the first Amana Healthcare facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra will open in late 2025. This world-class hospital will provide long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services. Amana Healthcare provides long-term care for adult patients with complex medical needs in an inpatient setting. Multidisciplinary care will be provided through intensive care unit (ICU) physicians, geriatricians, nurses, therapists, and a patient & family experience team who work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for those patients. It also offers specialised rehabilitation for individuals who require inpatient rehabilitation following a life-altering event, such as stroke, brain injury, spine injury, joint replacement, or amputation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Seamless Healthcare Operations
    • Master the EMR Workflow – Own the end-to-end hospital and clinic EMR journey, from registration to discharge, ensuring smooth operations across physicians, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, and lab workflows.
    • Lead IT Infrastructure Excellence – Design, implement, and manage state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, cloud systems, and storage solutions to guarantee high availability and performance.
  • Revolutionize Healthcare System Integrations
    • Bridge IT & Healthcare – Lead seamless integration between EHR systems, medical devices, patient management tools, and business applications, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
    • Expert in Healthcare Integrations – Leverage cutting-edge technologies like HL7, APIs, JSON, and SQL to enhance connectivity and efficiency across all platforms.
  •  Champion Security & Compliance
    • Protect Patient Data – Ensure compliance with regional healthcare regulations while maintaining top-tier security through regular updates, encryption, access control, and vulnerability management.
    • Manage Vendor Relations – Collaborate with top technology providers to ensure system optimization and continuous improvements.
  • Empower Teams with IT Expertise
    • Be the Go-To IT Expert – Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to ensure seamless IT operations for doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff.
    • Solve Problems, Elevate Performance – Address IT infrastructure, EMR access, and connectivity challenges, ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in healthcare IT systems
  • Proficiency in EMR, HIS, healthcare integrations, and security protocols
