About the Opportunity 

M42 is planning significant external growth in the next 2-3 years, which is likely to include acquisitions in the region and globally, across multiple healthcare sectors (services / provision, digital health, OMICS, Life Sciences). To support the execution of our strategic plan, we are seeking a Senior Associate, Investments to join our investments team.

As a Senior Associate, in the investments team, you will play a critical role in the evaluation of M&A and investment opportunities and other strategic projects to ensure M42 achieves its strategic objectives.

Role will be focused on external growth opportunities; it is likely to also include organic growth projects or special situations. This is a unique opportunity for an investment professional with a strong corporate finance background to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Assess the strategic fit of potential investments by analyzing all aspects of M&A and investment transactions against strategic objectives and M42’s investment criteria. 
• Understand key business drivers and proactively identify, assess, and manage potential issues and risks.
• Perform financial statement analysis, financial modelling, and valuation analysis.
• Oversee third-party due diligence processes, support negotiations, and assist in transaction closings.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a reputable academic institution. 
  5+ years of experience in M&A, investments or transaction services, ideally within an investment bank, reputable M&A boutique or the transaction services team of a Big 4 or Tier 1 similar firm.
• Solid demontrated experience in executing buy-side and sell-side transactions; preferably cross-border M&A experience.
  Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to produce high-quality, insightful, and professional deliverables.
• English proficiency (verbal and written).
