Job Overview:

 

This role is responsible for leading quality and patient safety initiatives to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization. The role will use a broad and deep knowledge of practice and systems to support the quality measurement, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and patient safety functions. The role will implement and evaluate all aspects of an integrated Patient Safety Program, plays a key role in the development and nurturing of a culture of safety throughout the organization, and drives the organization's commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety and quality by leading improvement projects, audits, and accreditation activities.

  • Support regulatory readiness by ensuring compliance with local and international standards (Joint Commission International, Department of Health, Dubai Health Authority, etc.).

  • Drive data-informed decision-making through performance measurement, risk analysis, and outcome tracking.

  • Facilitate educational sessions and workshops to strengthen awareness and best practices in patient safety.

  • Engage in root cause analyses, policy development, and safety alert communications to reduce clinical risks.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver process improvements and embed patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management or equivalent field.
  • Minimum three (3) years in healthcare Quality and Patient Safety are required.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Quality Improvement principles and oversight of regulatory compliance.
  • Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent or within 12 months of hire
  • Development and implementation of quality and safety programs.
  • Experience with UAE healthcare regulatory framework.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
