We are searching for UAE Nationals to be a part of our Environmental Sciences team.

 

As a Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry, you will conduct a variety of laboratory tests and measurements under the guidance of the scientist on shift. Your role will involve working in environmental or water testing or a related field, performing wet chemical and instrumental analyses, including quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, register, and prepare water samples for analysis.

  • Perform laboratory testing, including wet chemical and instrumental analyses, following standard procedures.

  • Record and maintain accurate experimental data and test results in written or electronic formats.

  • Prepare reagents, media, and consumables as per laboratory requirements.

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting malfunctions.

  • Follow safety, health, and quality control procedures, including proper waste handling per EHS regulations.

  • Ensure accurate data entry into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LABWARE LIMS).

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance in developing laboratory methods and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Laboratory Technologist in an environmental or water testing or similar field. 
  • Standard chemistry laboratory concepts, practices and procedures. 
  • Information management.
  • Sample extraction and preparation.
